In this class I’ll teach you how to needle felt a design on a garment, then wet felt it to strengthen the design and make it durable. We’ll start by needle felting with a barbed needle to tangle wool roving into the fabric of your garment until it’s completely flat on one side, then we’ll wet felt the design to tangle together the fluffy fibers on the inside, and further mat down the fibers on the outside. This reduces pilling and creates a long-lasting design.

You’ll have the option to use my washaway templates and create fruit designs: strawberry, lemon, avocado or apple, OR you can create your own design and experiment. I’ll have a variety of wool colours available to choose from.
