Avocado earrings

$45.00

These were the avocado earrings I put through my earrings durability test.

Needle felted earrings are super lightweight (I don’t even realize I’m wearing them!) and durable. I wear mine 24/7, although I usually take them off in the shower as they can get soggy. If they get dirty, you can gently wash them with cold or warm water and gentle soap. Squeeze the water out, and reshape when wet.

These earrings have stainless steel hooks. Other earring hook options possible: clip on, hoops (stainless steel), small circles (stainless steel), ear wires (stainless steel), sterling silver (limited availability) You can request this when you add to cart on the “special requests” form.

I tested the durability of my earrings by putting them through the washing machine, putting a lit match under them, throwing them at the wall and hitting them with a hammer. They survived all tests! The fire did char the wool slightly, but the charred parts flaked off. Wool is naturally fire retardant so it chars instead of catching fire. The washing machine made them slightly more felted, but it was hardly noticeable. You can find the video of me performing these tests here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/eREf45zShIM
